Martinez earned his bachelor’s degree at UC Santa Barbara before obtaining a Law Degree from Chapman School of Law. At Chapman, Martinez participated in their ELURE (Environmental Land Use and Real Estate Transactions) program.

As a Mexican-American, Martinez feels comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish, and takes pride in making his limited English proficiency clients feel more comfortable operating in our complex legal system. He has experienced many phases of the southern California real estate market, from booms to downturns, and has developed fantastic perspective.

Gabriela Leon

Paralegal

Gabriela Leon has been a paralegal at the Law Offices of Mark S. Martinez for over four years. In her time with the firm, Leon has helped hundreds of clients achieve resolution in both their Real Estate and/or Personal Injury matters. Leon is highly experienced in handling and resolving an array of complex cases. However, Leon’s passion for handling cases extends beyond simply obtaining successful results. She takes pride in her ability to effectively serve and communicate with the diverse individuals she serves.

As a fully bilingual paralegal, Leon feels fulfillment at being able to eliminate the language barrier between her Spanish speaking clients and their legal matters.

Leon is also a Certified Court Interpreter who earned her Business Degree and Masters in Human Resources from Costa Rica, where she lived from the age of four and into her early adulthood. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and unwinding outdoors, by hiking in nature.
